As Georgina's Regional Councillor, I will have two important roles. Our Regional Councillor serves on York Region's council with 20 other representatives from all 9 York Region municipalities. Georgina's Regional Councillor also serves locally in Georgina as Deputy Mayor.

The mayor in Georgina is also a member of York Region's council, and serves as head of council in Georgina, and chair of all council meetings. The mayor also serves as Georgina's CEO.
